Mars Names David Jacobs as VP of Marketing for North America

Mars has appointed CPG veteran David Jacobs as Vice President of Marketing for North America, where he will oversee strategic brand development, integrated campaigns, and consumer engagement across Mars’ snacking portfolio.



Jacobs brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and brand leadership, having held senior roles at Coca-Cola, Beam Suntory, and Unilever. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Marketing for The Coca-Cola Company’s hydration and enhanced beverages category.


In his new role, Jacobs will be responsible for strengthening Mars’ brand equity in the region, driving consumer-first marketing strategy, and advancing the company’s digital, media, and retail execution across leading brands like M&M’s, Snickers, and Kind.


He joins Mars during a time of focused investment in marketing agility, personalization, and purpose-driven storytelling — all central to the company’s growth roadmap in the North American market.
