Mondelēz Names Norberto Chaclin EVP and Chief R&D Officer

Mondelēz International has appointed Norberto Chaclin as Executive Vice President and Chief Research & Development Officer, tasking him with leading global innovation, product development, and technical strategy across the company’s snacking portfolio.

Chaclin brings over 30 years of experience in R&D and product development, most recently serving as Chief R&D Officer at SC Johnson. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, where he led innovation across multiple household and personal care brands.
At Mondelēz, he will oversee all aspects of R&D — from product design and packaging innovation to sustainability-driven formulation — and will report directly to CEO Dirk Van de Put. His appointment is expected to further the company’s mission of delivering breakthrough snacking innovation rooted in consumer needs and science-led development.
